DEBKAfile Exclusive Report May 19, 2011, 10:04 AM (GMT+02:00)

Army and security services have fanned out across the West Bank in search of between five and eight Syria and Hizballah secret agents believed to have slipped across the Syrian-Israeli Golan border under cover of the Palestinian mob incursion of May 15. debkafile's counter-terror sources report that Israel intelligence believes Hamas and Hizballah clandestine West Bank terror cells were standing by to drive the infiltrators straight to hideouts where false identities awaited them. Such cells are mostly held dormant for extreme military situations such as conflagrations on Israel's borders with Syria, Lebanon or the Gaza Strip.
It is assumed that the new infiltrators will be activated when Syrian President Bashar Assad strikes again
in keeping with the threat from Damascus that unless the West backs off from supporting the protest against his regime, "instability in Syria would cause instability in Israel."
Wednesday, the Obama administration intensified its pressure on Assad by sanctioning him for the first time in person along with six heads of his regime. European governments promise to follow. Where can i order Nimetazepam without prescription, Syriaand Hizballah are not known to have ever managed a group penetration of secret agents before. Any single operatives sneaking in from Syria in the past have usually taken the Wadi Harmiyeh smuggling route from Golan to the West Bank town of Ramallah, Nimetazepam For Sale. The northern sections of this dry waterway are too narrow, twisting and dark for electronic sensors to pick up suspicious movements.
However, the massive trampling of the Syrian-Israeli Golan border on May 15 gave the Syrian and Hizballah spies the chance to drive comfortably down Israeli highways to their hideouts.
The way the penetration was organized attested to the close collaboration between Syrian military intelligence, Hizballah's special security apparatus and the armed branches of the radical Hamas and Ahmed Jibril's PFLP-General Command. Each had a part to play in the mass assault on Israel's borders: Hizballah arranged a Palestinian demonstration opposite the Lebanese-Israeli frontier, buy Nimetazepam without prescription, Jibril helped round up hundreds of Palestinians for smashing into Majd al Shams, while Hamas staged a mass march on the Gaza-Israel border. Nimetazepam For Sale, Catching the IDF unready to cope with extreme pressure on three fronts has encouraged these extremist forces to follow through quickly and exploit the perceived Israeli weakness before the IDF comes up with a cure for defending its borders against mass civilian assault that does not entail shooting hundreds of unarmed people. Western intelligence sources do not think a cure will be easy to find.
Information reaching IDF intelligence indicates that Syria has is preparing its next civilian assault on the Israeli border for June 5, which marks the 44th anniversary of the Six Day War and the delineation of new borders. The Syrians are again working hand in glove with Hizballah and the same Palestinian rejectionists to stage additional offensives for June 7, Nimetazepam australia, uk, us, usa, Israel's Shavuot festival and the anniversary of Jerusalem's liberation and reunification.
The fundamentalist Hamas is not waiting: It has used Facebook to call on thousands of Palestinians to assemble at the Erez crossing Friday, May 20 and smash through the Gaza-Israeli border on the Majd al Shams model.
Our sources say this is a red herring to misdirect Israeli commanders in the same way as the Syrians planted a false lead to Kuneitra and staged their break-in at Majd al-Shams, Nimetazepam For Sale. In fact, the attempts to breach the Gaza fence will occur somewhere else or in several places on the assumption that the IDF has not recovered from the May 15 events and lacks the trained manpower and crowd control gear for breaking up a raging mob. Hamas hopes to present the spectacle as part of the Arab Revolt against tyrannical regimes and so gloss over a hostile act of war against a sovereign state.

Obama: "A Full and Phased Withdrawal" by Israel to "1967 Lines"
by Gavriel Queenann
US President Barack Obama dramatically changed US foreign policy - sandbagging Israel and aligning himself with PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas' preconditions for talks - when he called Thursday for a "full and phased withdraw of Israeli forces" from "occupied Palestinian lands" to what he termed "1967 borders" - the 1949 armistice lines Israel's former Foreign Minister and UN ambassador Abba Eban, in 1967, japan, craiglist, ebay, overseas, paypal, referred to as the "Auschwitz borders." Obama left room for some "land swaps" at those borders.
Obama's comments came during his much anticipated policy address at the State Department in which he outlined the United State's new foreign policy for the Middle East and North Africa in light of the "spring revolutions" that have rocked the region.
Saying the world was tired of "nothing but stalemate" in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and complaining that "settlement activity continues" while the "Palestinians have walked away from talks," Obama said Israelis cannot obtain the dream of a democratic and Jewish state through "occupation."
The full text and video of Obama's comments on Israel can be viewed and read here.
Obama called for "two states for two peoples" with permanent borders based on the "1967 lines with agreed upon swaps." The borders referred to as "1967 lines" are in fact the lines agreed upon in the 1949 armistice, following which Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria for 19 years. Nimetazepam For Sale, The armistice lines, considered indefensible by defense experts, are often called "Auschwitz borders" in Israel.
He also mentioned that the PA state should be contiguous. This word may refer to Judea and Samaria's Jewish communities that separate Palestinian areas from one another, Nimetazepam treatment, or even more dangerously, refer to a connecting road between Gaza and Judea and Samaria, which would make Israel non-contiguous.
"Our policy is two states for two peoples. Israel as a Jewish state for the Jewish people. Palestine as a Palestinian state for the Palestinian people. A viable Palestine; a secure Israel."
Calling for final negotiations on permanent borders - although he left only land swaps to negotiate - and security before deciding the “future of Jerusalem” and "Palestinian refugees," Obama said he believed these "wrenching issues" would eventually be solved because, in his words, get Nimetazepam, "I am convinced majority of Israelis and Palestinians would rather look to the future than be trapped in the past."
Abbas has stated almost the same thing: that returning to the 1949 Armistice lines is non-negotiable, but included Jerusalem in those borders, and said that only the refugees are a negotiable issue.
Obama, who tried to justify remarks endorsing PA territorial demands by invoking the long-standing friendship between Israel and the United States, said that "because of that friendship we must speak the truth," but at the same time endorsed PA leaders maximalist demands - ignoring most of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's conditions for a peace accord.
He did call on Abbas to recognize Israel as a Jewish state and maintained that the PA state be demilitarized.
Saying Israel must "act boldly to advance a lasting peace" and claiming a "growing number of Palestinians" live west of the Jordan river, Discount Nimetazepam, Obama put the onus on Israel to make "millions believe peace is possible" and - using language traditionally associated with one-sided Israeli concessions - said Israel must "act boldly to achieve a lasting peace."
At the same time Obama rejected unilateral moves by Palestinian Authority leaders to achieve a declaration of statehood outside of negotiations in the United Nations in September saying efforts to to isolate Israel in the UN, and delegitimize Israel, won't achieve statehood.
"No peace can be imposed, not by US, not by anyone else," Obama said.
While saying the US would "make every effort" to advance the "cause of peace" Obama outlined no plan - other than Israeli concessions - for achieving an agreement between Israel and the PA.
PM slams Obama call for ‘Palestine’ based on ’67 lines

Netanyahu issued a quick, bitter response on Thursday night to Obama’s landmark Middle East speech, saying that the establishment of a Palestinian state could not come “at Israel’s expense.”

In Arab world, disappointment Obama didn’t go further
“The Palestinians, and not only the US, must recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people,” he said, Nimetazepam For Sale.
Obama, in his address earlier in the day on the changes sweeping the Middle East, called for a demilitarized Palestinian state along the 1967 lines with agreed upon land swaps.
While thanking Obama for his commitment to peace, Nimetazepam mg, Netanyahu said he “expects to hear from President Obama a reconfirmation of commitments to Israel from 2004 that received wide support in both houses of Congress.” This was a reference to a letter from president George W. Bush to prime minister Ariel Sharon that did not call for a return to the 1967 lines, and that recognized that any agreement would take into account the changed realities on the ground – a line interpreted by Israel to mean a recognition that it would hold on to the large settlement blocs.
The Bush commitments, said Netanyahu, “deal with Israel not being asked to withdraw to the 1967 lines, which are not defensible, and which place large population centers in Judea and Samaria outside of these borders.”
Netanyahu’s statement also said that the Bush letter made clear that Palestinian refugees would be absorbed in a future Palestinian state, rx free Nimetazepam, something that was not explicitly mentioned in Obama’s speech. Nimetazepam For Sale, “Without a solution to the refugee issue by settling them outside of Israel, no territorial concessions will end the conflict,” the statement read.
In a wide-ranging address at the State Department, Obama devoted considerable attention to the Israeli-Palestinian issue, whose peaceful resolution he called “more urgent than ever,” and pushed back against those who have said the current tumult precluded a serious peace process.
“While the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, Buy cheap Nimetazepam, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, a secure Israel,” the president declared. “We believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.”
Though he stressed that the United States can’t impose a solution, “what America and the international community can do is to state frankly what everyone knows – a lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples: Israel as a Jewish state and the homeland for the Jewish people, and the state of Palestine as the homeland for the Palestinian people.”
Obama fleshed that out further by saying that Palestinians should have “a sovereign, nonmilitarized state” and that there must be provisions for stopping terrorism and weapons smuggling, Nimetazepam dangers, and ensuring border security. He called for a “full and phased withdrawal” of the IDF to be coordinated with the Palestinians during a transition period with a clear duration and demonstrated security effectiveness.
“These principles provide a foundation for negotiations,” Obama said, Nimetazepam For Sale. “Palestinians should know the territorial outlines of their state; Israelis should know that their basic security concerns will be met.”
He pointedly skipped making any prescriptions on the “wrenching and emotional” issues of Jerusalem and Palestinian refugees but argued that “moving forward now on the basis of territory and security provides a foundation to resolve those two issues in a way that is just and fair.”
Obama’s comments codify long-standing American policy in a more explicit and detailed format than his predecessors offered. George W. Bush was the first to call for a Palestinian state, and later referred to “mutually agreed changes” to the 1949 armistice lines as its basis, Buy Nimetazepam from mexico, in the 2004 letter to Sharon.
The greater significance of Obama’s comments is likely to come in how they are perceived by both parties, as well as what they indicate about the United States’ intentions on shepherding the peace process. Nimetazepam For Sale, Though the US has not been engaged in active diplomacy since the Palestinians left the talks last year, this could signal an effort to raise the profile of US involvement in the issue.
It comes at a time when the Palestinians are threatening to go to the UN with a unilateral declaration of statehood, a move that concerns Israel and is sure to be a subject of discussion when Netanyahu arrives at the White House on Friday.
Obama strongly rebuked the Palestinians for this tactic on Thursday, saying, “Symbolic actions to isolate Israel at the United Nations in September won’t create an independent state.”
He warned Palestinians that “efforts to delegitimize Israel will end in failure” and that they would “never realize their independence by denying the right of Israel to exist.”
He chastised both sides for taking steps that don’t help the peace process, Nimetazepam brand name.
“Israeli settlement activity continues. Palestinians have walked away from talks,” Obama said. “The world looks at a conflict that has grinded on and on and on, and sees nothing but stalemate.”
Israel has expressed doubt that any progress toward negotiations can be made for the time being with the recent announcement of a Palestinian unity government that will include Hamas, Nimetazepam For Sale.
Obama acknowledged these concerns when he referred to the unity deal as raising “profound and legitimate questions for Israel” and emphasized that “in the weeks and months to come, Palestinian leaders will have to provide a credible answer to that question.”
Elsewhere, he said, Nimetazepam long term, “Palestinian leaders will not achieve peace or prosperity if Hamas insists on a path of terror and rejection.”
He stressed American support for Israel: “Our friendship is rooted deeply in a shared history and shared values. Our commitment to Israel’s security is unshakeable. And we will stand against attempts to single it out for criticism in international forums.”
He continued, “But precisely because of our friendship, it’s important that we tell the truth: The status quo is unsustainable, and Israel too must act boldly to advance a lasting peace.”
Obama added, “The dream of a Jewish and democratic state cannot be fulfilled with permanent occupation.”
Referring to Obama’s statement about Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people, the Prime Minister’s Office said the Palestinians and not only the US need to recognize that as a fact, australia, uk, us, usa.
Netanyahu also said that he will make clear in his meeting with Obama that Israel will need to remain on the Jordan River, and that he was disappointed by Fatah’s reconciliation with Hamas. Nimetazepam For Sale, While Obama noted the emotive nature of the Palestinian issue for the broader Arab world, he also criticized dictators for deflecting attention from their autocratic rule by focusing on Israel.
“Antagonism toward Israel became the only acceptable outlet for political expression,” he said.
His speech was delivered in response to the Arab uprisings against these autocracies, and Obama pledged American support for those who sought democracy and freedom. Buy Nimetazepam from canada, “There must be no doubt that the United States of America welcomes change that advances self-determination and opportunity,” he said.
“Yes, there will be perils that accompany this moment of promise. But after decades of accepting the world as it is in the region, we have a chance to pursue the world as it should be.”
He stressed, “The status quo is not sustainable, Nimetazepam For Sale. Societies held together by fear and repression may offer the illusion of stability for a time, but they are built upon fault lines that will eventually tear asunder.”
Obama criticized Syrian leader Bashar Assad for firing on his own citizens, who have taken to the streets to demand such self-determination.
But he didn’t refer to Assad as illegitimate, Nimetazepam price, coupon, much less call on him to go, as he has with other Arab leaders in similar positions, as some had speculated he would before the speech.
Instead, Obama said, “President Assad now has a choice: He can lead that transition, Doses Nimetazepam work, or get out of the way. The Syrian government must stop shooting demonstrators, and allow peaceful protests.”
He also called on Assad to “start a serious dialogue to advance a democratic transition,” warning that “otherwise, President Assad and his regime will continue to be challenged from within and will continue to be isolated abroad.”
He spoke of significant American aid to help Egypt and Tunisia reach democracy, and spoke of the need for religious freedom and rights for women throughout the Arab world. Nimetazepam For Sale, Obama concluded with his comments on the peace process, and used the experience of bereaved Israelis and Palestinians who chose to seek reconciliation rather than violence as a message for the greater region.
“That is the choice that must be made – not simply in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but across the entire region – a choice between hate and hope; between the shackles of the past and the promise of the future, Nimetazepam without prescription,” he said. “It’s a choice that must be made by leaders and by the people, and it’s a choice that will define the future of a region that served as the cradle of civilization and a crucible of strife.”
Netanyahu’s position, which he highlighted in an unexpectedly negative response to the president’s speech, Nimetazepam wiki, is that the 1967 lines are indefensible.

Although Obama made an effort to give some points to Israel and some to the Palestinians, in the final analysis he essentially adopted the Palestinian position that the 1967 lines – and not defensible borders – should be the baseline of any agreement.
Obama also adopted the Palestinian position that was a point of sharp contention during the proximity, or indirect, talks last year: that the negotiations should start with borders and security, Nimetazepam For Sale. Israel’s position was that all the core issues, including Jerusalem and the refugee issue, should be discussed simultaneously so that the Palestinians, and not only Israel, kjøpe Nimetazepam på nett, köpa Nimetazepam online, will have to make concessions.
Obama also seemed to rule out a long-term Israeli presence in the Jordan Valley, as Netanyahu has demanded, saying the Palestinian state should border on Egypt, Israel and Jordan – meaning that the Palestinians, and not Israel, Buying Nimetazepam online over the counter, would control the border to the east.
The elements of the speech that were pleasant to Netanyahu’s ears were the US president’s call for a return to negotiations; his unequivocal dismissal of the Palestinian effort to isolate Israel at the UN in September by bringing a resolution calling for recognition of a Palestinian state; his questioning of the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation; and his strong words of commitment to Israel’s security.
But the tone of Netanyahu’s response to the overall speech made clear that he disliked it more than he liked it – and all this before his five-day trip to Washington began.
Abbas has also decided to hold urgent consultations with a number of Arab leaders on the speech, the official said.

PLO Executive Committee member Saeb Erekat said that Abbas remained committed to fulfilling all Palestinian obligations in accordance with international agreements, purchase Nimetazepam for sale, especially the road-map plan and the 2002 Arab peace initiative.
Erekat said that the PA was hoping the Israeli government would fulfill its obligations “to give the peace process the chance it deserves.”
He added that Abbas appreciated Obama’s efforts to resume the peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel, and maintained hopes of reaching a solution on the core issues, according to an agreed timetable.
“President Abbas affirms his appreciation for President Obama’s declaration regarding people’s right to self-determination, freedom and dignity, Nimetazepam from canada, as well as ensuring freedom of worship,” Erekat added. “The Palestinians need more than any other people such issues to get rid of occupation.”

Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan told Agence France-Press that his movement does not believe in US policies because they are biased in favor of Israel, and deny Palestinian rights.

GOP Slams Obama on Israel
by Elad Benari
Members of the U.S. Republican party, some of them presidential hopefuls, on Thursday criticized President Barack Obama’s speech on the Middle East and accused him of betraying Israel, Nimetazepam steet value.
“President Obama has thrown Israel under the bus,” Former Massachusetts governor and potential 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney said in a statement quoted on Politico.com. Nimetazepam For Sale, “He has disrespected Israel and undermined its ability to negotiate peace. He has also violated a first principle of American foreign policy, which is to stand firm by our friends.”
Romney, who is well acquainted with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, visited Israel in January. Buy Nimetazepam no prescription, Minnesota House member Michele Bachmann also responded to the presidential speech, saying on her Twitter account that Obama had “betrayed our friend and ally Israel. Obama’s call for 1967 borders will cause chaos, division & more aggression in Middle East and put Israel at further risk.”
Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, also a potential Republican candidate for the presidency, called Obama’s call for Israel return to the so-called ‘1967 borders’ – the 1949 Armistice Lines which are considered indefensible by defense experts – “a mistaken a very dangerous demand.”
In a statement quoted in Politico, Pawlenty said that “the city of Jerusalem must never be re-divided. To send a signal to the Palestinians that America will increase its demands on our ally Israel, Nimetazepam interactions, on the heels of the Palestinian Authority’s agreement with the Hamas terrorist organization, is a disaster waiting to happen. At this time of upheaval in the Middle East, it's never been more important for America to stand strong for Israel and for a united Jerusalem.”
Florida Republican Allen West also blasted Obama’s speech in a statement he released and which was quoted by Newsmax:
“Today’s endorsement by President Barack Obama of the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, signals the most egregious foreign policy decision his administration has made to date, and could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state,” said West, Nimetazepam For Sale.
“The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the world’s Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known state-sponsor of terrorism,” he added and emphasized that “there has always been a Nation of Israel and Jerusalem has been and must always be recognized as its rightful capital.”
West also said that “the Hamas-run Palestinian state envisioned by President Obama would be devastating to Israel and the world’s 13.3 million Jews. It would be a Pavlovian style reward to a declared Islamic terrorist organization, Cheap Nimetazepam no rx, and an unacceptable policy initiative.” He called for the United States to “never negotiate with the Palestinian Authority- which has aligned itself with Hamas.”
West called on the American people “to stand by our strongest ally, the Jewish State of Israel, and reject this foreign policy blunder of epic proportions…The President should focus on the real obstacle to security- the Palestinian leadership and its ultimate goal to eliminate Israel and the Jewish people.”
In his speech at the State Department, Obama called for “two states for two peoples” with permanent borders based on the “1967 lines with agreed upon swaps.” He also mentioned that the PA state should be contiguous.

Danon: Obama Has Adopted Arafat's Plan; Eldad - Insanity.
by Gavriel Queenann
Nationalist Israeli lawmakers were taken aback by US President Barack Obama's "new chapter in American diplomacy" outlined Thursday during his much expected Mideast policy address at the State Department.
Obama ambushed Netanyahu, Get Nimetazepam, who had outlined Israel's conditions for peace earlier this week, and demanded a "full and phased withdrawal" by Israel from "occupied lands" citing the "1967 border." Before his address, Obama had assured Israeli officials he would not address specifics of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
"President Barack Hussein Obama adopted the phased plan of Yasser Arafat," MK Danny Danon (Likud) told Israel National News - noting Arafat's plan was not for peace, but for the gradual destruction of Israel, piece by piece.
"He is demanding Netanyahu a withdrawal from all of Judea and Samaria without even ending the conflict. He left the Prime Minister only one option, which is to tell him to 'forget about it,'" Danon said.
Danon also lauded Prime Minister Netanyahu's strong response to Obama's position, which included the demand that the US honor commitments made to the Jewish state in 2004 by former President George W, Nimetazepam For Sale. Bush.
"I commend the prime minister for issuing a clear response that this policy is unacceptable," Danon said.
Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said Obama's position was nothing knew – and definitively insane.
"I wonder why all the pundits were so excited about Obama saying '1967 borders' as if he invented something knew, is Nimetazepam addictive. We tend to forget these were the Clinton guidelines, that Barak negotiated with Arafat based on them. Ehud Olmert also negotiated on these terms with Abu Mazen - and they all failed," Eldad said.
"It is a wonder the American president forgot Einstein's definition of insanity," Eldad said with characteristic dry humor. "That 'Insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'"
Prime Minister Netanyahu is expected to address the US Congress on May 24.

Is Israel's water crisis over?
Thursday, Nimetazepam trusted pharmacy reviews, May 19, 2011 | Ryan Jones

Before leaving the Water Authority to become a professor at Hebrew University four months ago, Dr. Uri Shani had been warning Israelis that the six previous years of drought had created such a severe shortage of water that harsh measures would likely be required this summer.
Changing course in his Channel 2 appearance, Shani stated, "I can say with caution that the water crisis has ended."
Israel experienced a large increase in rainfall this spring, buy cheap Nimetazepam no rx, but Shani said the main reason Israel's crisis has ended is accelerated work on numerous desalination plants along the Mediterranean Coast.
"The main reason is not the rain of course, it is the desalinization facilities that Israel is building at perhaps the greatest speed in the world," said Shani. "Also, the recent water conservation practices of Israel."
But figures released by the Water Authority showed that Shani's optimism may be premature, Nimetazepam For Sale.
While Israel did experience a fairly average winter in terms of rainfall, after six years of serious drought, Nimetazepam duration, the country still has a deficit of about one billion cubic meters of water.
And Israel's annual water needs far outpace even a good winter's rainfall.
The new desalination plants are expected to turn the tide in the struggle for water, but they are not yet operational. And if the coming year is particularly dry, the new desalination plants will be working overtime just to help Israel play catch-up.
In the meantime, Water Authority spokesman Uri Schor told The Jerusalem Post that Israel's main water reservoirs - the Sea of Galilee and the mountain aquifers - remain critically depleted.
"We will be under the red line this summer in all three main reserves," said Schor.
Despite seeing what he believes is light at the end of the tunnel, Shani warned Israelis that water prices will remain high for the foreseeable future.
"Water is expensive," he noted, remdinding Israelis that "we live in the desert."
